This piece is about the two-party political system, and how it utilizes distraction and economics to keep the populous in a state of submission. The character, called “The Citizen,” is a representation of the energy/rage that lurks below the surface of all those held in a psychological vise grip by the powers that be. Each citizen’s personal power is removed and supplanted by submission to the state and the dynamics of choice A vs. choice B.
